“The Secret” on Oprah… get real!
I just watched this clip from Oprah on the much-hyped, “The Secret.” Check this out, and then - listen to me rant!
First, a confession: I just ordered “The Secret.” I’m totally hooked on this kind of stuff. A girl of the universe - that’s me. I’m a believer in all things karmic… BUT…
Seriously, are these folks going to try to tell OPRAH how all this goes down? Yeah right. If anyone has given more than Oprah, shared more than Oprah, tuned into, and put out, the best possible vibe more than Oprah, I’d like to meet that person. I cannot imagine what these people think they can teach her. She is god.
I can’t wait to dig into this material, but why doesn’t Oprah write her own book and tell us HER secret? Why not explain to us how she came from the ghetto, found a good place inside herself, and then blasted her glow outward, until it extends all the way to Africa and beyond? I have never heard of any of these “gurus” until now, and would rather hear “The Secret” from someone who exudes it… why is she promoting this recycled stuff, instead of creating her own course?
Mankind would be well served to learn how to live in a state of gratitude and giving. Who are these people, and what qualifies them? I’m going to study them, and I’ll let you know.
